Welcome to Chaatrik Collective, a curation that represents my belief that beauty can be found everywhere, even in the most grotesque. Beauty is inherent to existence, one cannot exist without the other.The chaatrik is the perfect vehicle to understand this message. Coming from Indian mythology, it’s a bird said to look only to the sky, waiting for a single drop of rain, refusing all other sources of water. It embodies a quiet devotion to something pure and fleeting. What I strive to capture in my photography are those same fleeting moments that showcase the beauty in existence.
